First, this program exists to develop
you. Do you want to have the best training to
accomplish your mission? Do you want to
improve your leadership skills through practical ministry? This takes place
within Your growth and development is important to
us. We want to see you succeed. We know that when you exit the doors of
LeaderTreks, you will be more equipped to fulfill the cries of your heart. We will help you reach your maximum potential
in ministry.
Second, our program exists to serve youth
pastors. They live and
breathe what is going on with their students.
They have a vision and many goals for them. This is the reason we serve them. As a Summit Team member, you will develop
lasting relationships with youth pastors as you partner with them to develop
students. So, how do we do it? Through…
Leadership Training Events: We offer student leadership conferences
designed to challenge students and grow them as leaders. These conferences are
focused on one leadership topic and include both classroom training and
leadership experiences. Through the teaching of leadership principles and the practical
experience of the team building activities, students develop their leadership
potential.
Leadership Trips: We offer missions and wilderness trips that
focus on leadership development. Students are given leadership roles on the
trips, forcing them to make the decisions that lead to the success or failure
of the trip. These roles require them to work together to solve problems and
reach goals. In the end, a unique leadership experience for students takes
place.
Leadership Curriculum: By taking the most cutting edge
leadership principles and putting them in written form, we have given youth
pastors and youth volunteers the ability to develop their students into leaders
that will change the world.
Youth Pastor Leadership Training: Many times throughout the year we bring
in youth pastors to our office to help develop them in their leadership ability.
This focused time allows them to share their joys and hurts of ministry, while
also being developed. The more a youth pastor knows about his/her strengths and
how to use them, the more students become empowered.
As a Summit Team
member, you will play a role in all four, but having your primary focus in the
first two areas. You will be the head
facilitators that are delivering our product and fulfilling our mission.
Through our
trips, training, and curriculum we see an immediate impact in the lives of
students, but a more lasting impact takes place as the youth pastor, equipped with
knowledge, uses new skills to develop the youth group into an agent of change.
Finally, our program exists for you to understand
what LeaderTreks is about, inside and out. You will be
delivering our transformational product to many youth pastors and
students. Our mission is laser focused
and if you don’t understand what and how we do it, we will fail in what we are
called to do.
