Every Summit Team member lives on full-time support,
raised through donations by individuals, churches, and businesses. This will
give you the opportunity to see God’s provision in ways that will stretch and
surprise you as you become a full time missionary. While on LT trips and
weekend events, all expenses accrued are covered by LT, rather than your
personal support. LeaderTreks is committed to offering you our experience in
this area of your ministry through a variety of avenues:
Fundraising
Training: After
acceptance onto the
team, you will spend a weekend with us in fundraising training. This weekend is designed to give you not only
a Biblical background to equip you, but also some instruction in setting
adequate and reasonable monthly goals.
You will also leave our office with your first newsletter in hand to get
you started.
Developing
a Fundraising Plan:
In the first year of ,
weekly meetings will help you get additional fundraising training and practical
advice to reach your goals. These
meetings also serve as accountability, making everyone’s fundraising a team
effort.
Support
for Housing Needs:
LeaderTreks wants to help you out in as many ways as possible. We can
connect you with local families that can house you for a reduced rental rate.
If living independently is more your preference, we will work to help you find
affordable apartments in the local area.
