TITLE: Coordinator of Sales

PERSONAL SUMMARY
I grew up in Wheaton and have been blessed my whole life with a strong Christian family, as well as a huge extended family who also mainly reside in the western suburbs of Chicago.  During my high school days at Wheaton Academy I began going on missions and adventure trips with LeaderTreks.  These experiences challenged my thinking in many ways, and inspired me to take on challenges I otherwise would never have considered.  After graduating from WA, I decided to ride a bicycle across the U.S. from coast to coast with two of my good friends from high school.  The following summer, I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail - walking over 2,000 miles from Georgia to Maine.  In between adventures, I received a Bible degree from Wheaton College which is also where I met my wonderful wife Laura.

1) HOW DID YOU BECOME A CHRISTIAN? The Lord saved me at a young age and He has been growing me in my relationship with Him ever since.  I have often failed Him, but He has always been faithful to me.

2) WHY LEADERTREKS? I chose to come back to LeaderTreks because I know that their process for leadership development works.  I was greatly changed through my involvement with them as a student and as an intern, and now I hope to help LeaderTreks expand its circle of influence to even more churches and schools around the country.

3) WHAT AUTHORS DO YOU READ? J.R.R. Tolkien, John Piper, C.S. Lewis, Jonathan Edwards, Patrick Lencioni, John Maxwell, among others.

4) WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR GREATEST LEADERSHIP LESSON? Leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less.

5) WHAT IS YOUR PASSION? My passion is knowing God and making him known to others.

6) WHAT PERSON HAS INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST? There are three people who have influenced me the most: the first is my Dad, Gene Frost.  I am who I am today because of his influence on my life.  The second is Doug Franklin.  He has been a mentor to me since I was a freshman in high school and almost everything I know about leadership I learned from him.  Finally, my wife Laura has been the most consistent positive influence in my life since we’ve been married.  She is a constant reminder of God’s grace to me, and a model of Christ’s persevering love.

7) FAMILY: Laura and I were married in June of 2004.  We love reading together and showing hospitality to others.  We also enjoy traveling the world together.
