The Leadership Discovery Series packages seven unique student-oriented profiles designed to help youth workers identify and develop student leaders in their group. Each profile contains a skill survey for students to complete as well as several strategies to apply what students learn about themselves.

The Leadership Discovery Series is based on the Leadership House model. In this series we've provided a reliable set of blueprints and all the tools, resources and materials needed for the sturdy construction of the Leadership House. However, the Leadership House becomes a real “home” when youth workers and students roll up their sleeves and work together, room by room, floor by floor. The Leadership House is multi-level; the materials are divided into two, distinct tracks-Self-Leadership and Team-Leadership. Each track has a number of stand-alone resources available to customize your experience.

Self-Leadership represents the foundation and bottom floors of the Leadership House, based on an important longstanding mandate for all leaders to “know thyself.” The Self-Leadership profiles will help your students gain a better understanding of how God has wired them.

These exercises create a powerful self-portrait for students who need a chance to identify their strengths and think objectively about their unique value to God’s Kingdom and their ministry team. In addition, they help students understand areas in their life needing growth. Creating a plan for change is a natural outcome of the experience.

These unique exercises help students understand how they lead and how they can improve in leadership.
