Overview:
About 30 miles outside of Hazard, Kentucky, LeaderTreks is partnering with local pastors to improve the lives of some of the poorest people in America. Through the local church LeaderTreks has been able to identify people who need work on their homes. This gives groups the opportunity to help people in their greatest need while insuring that follow-up by the local pastors will take place.
The work projects range from yard clean-up to roof repair and everything in between. Groups that want the Missions Ready level 2 program will also be able to do a VBS type program at local churches or at housing projects.

Work Projects:
Groups will do a variety of home repair projects such as construction, clearing and cleaning.
Ministry Opportunities:
Teams will have the opportunity to run an afternoon Vacation Bible School for the children in the area.

Day 1: (Sunday) Arrive at site. Settle in.
