In and Through – A Transformational Youth Ministry
1 Session add-on to a Leadership Training Event

Leadership development for your volunteers is just as essential as developing student leaders, but where to you start?  If your volunteers are like most they don’t lack willing hearts they just need someone to help them understand how to be effective youth workers.  The In and Through Training Event does just that.  In a short, two hour format, our staff will help your staff understand the essentials to being a transformational youth worker.

Youth ministry can be boiled down to what God is doing IN students and what God is doing THROUGH students.  This perspective will help your staff understand how to be a part of what God is doing in a student’s life.  We will cover topics such as being a friend versus being a youth worker, how to develop and use a transformational relationship with a student, and the four common cries of a student’s heart.  Each participant will also take the LeaderTreks Leadership Type Profile that will help them understand the way they lead as well as the leadership type of others on the team.  We will end by thinking through how we can apply what we have learned to become more effective youth workers.

This event will build momentum with your volunteer team as your staff gain a deeper understanding of how to be effective in their roles.  Your ministry will experience unity as your staff join together in the mission of reaching students in meaningful ways.  Consider using In and Through to help your staff fulfill their calling.
