Overview:
The natural beauty of Costa Rica attracts many visitors who never realize the overwhelming needs of the children of this emerging nation. Tens of thousands of children are living day to day on the streets of Costa Rica. LeaderTreks partners with the Viva Network to empower the local churches to meet this urgent need. Your group will work with a local ministry to provide housing for at-risk children. Your work will enable these churches to rescue children from the streets. Opportunities abound for outreach to the local communities. Your team will also enjoy the tropical setting and relax on the beach during your trip. This is an experience that will change the perspective of your students for the rest of their lives.

Opportunities exist to partner with local churches in outreach to their communities. VBS and children's outreaches are most common.

Adventure Opportunities:
Play in the surf off of Quepos beach. Zip line through the rainforest and watch the monkeys scurry from tree to tree - $45 extra per person. Explore the animals of Manual Antonio National Park. Go white water rafting (extra), all of this is possible in Costa Rica.
