Wilderness
Chugach National Forest is located 2 hours southeast of Anchorage, Alaska. On this trip your team will experience challenge, team unity and growth, a remote wilderness experience, and great wildlife along the way. Once the backpacks are on, your team will be pushed to communicate and work together as they navigate around mountains, through valleys, and across rivers. This is one of LeaderTreks more remote sites as it provides students the opportunity to push themselves to their potential.

Missions
In remote villages along the western coast, north of the Bering Sea, and along the Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers, LeaderTreks is bringing the good news of Jesus Christ. Many of the village people struggle deeply with drug addiction and alcoholism. The children in these areas are often abused and neglected. Your team's presence in these villages will make a lasting impact, and relationships that start there will have an eternal impact. They will experience a once in a lifetime adventure flying on the bush planes of Alaska as they travel to a remote Eskimo village to minister. They will give more hugs, piggyback rides, and will play more games than ever before. You can expect changed lives on this trip both in the village with the people to whom you will minister and in the lives of your students as they learn what it means to be leaders in Christ's Kingdom.
